Nick started working in the mortgage industry in 2011 and has spent all his time in wholesale lending. He started at Quicken Loans now known as Rocket Pro TPO. Nick's first role was in the closing department where he became a top producer in closing and worked his way into a managerial role for 2 years. After spending the first 3 years of his career in closing Nick decided to apply for an underwriting position and received the promotion at Quicken Loans. Nick spent the next 5 years of his career in underwriting at Quicken Loans and became a top producer from a production standpoint.

Nick was always known as one of the UWers that would go above and beyond to make sure every loan funded. If there was an issue on a loan, Nick would take the extra time to dig his heels in order to find a solution instead of sending to suspense. This type of get it done attitude allowed him to become one of the top underwriters in the Wholesale industry. Nick's error percentage as an underwriter set records at less than 1% and his pull through rate was over 90%, much better than industry average. After spending time in underwriting Nick decided to try his hand in sales and moved on to Newrez Wholesale as a National Account Executive.

Nick spent 3 months with Newrez before COVID-19 hit causing Newrez to layoff over 30% of the company. Within a week of being laid off Nick accepted another role as National Account Executive with Cardinal Financial Wholesale. Within 8 months Nick became one of the top producing Account Executives at the company and was #2 in overall production and #1 in pull through rate funding 60 plus loans per month. In October of 2020 Newrez Wholesale recruited and offered Nick a promotion to Senior Account Executive for North and South Carolina. Nick accepted the job and was the fastest AE to funder $15,000,000 in a month in company history, it took less than 3 months. Nick consistently funded upwards of $15 million per month and on boarded 5 new broker shops per month. In August of 2021 Newrez Wholesale announced a merger with Caliber Wholesale where Nick maintained his role as Senior Account Executive for the Carolinas and continued to produce at a high level until launching NBI Financial Group LLC.
